Lucas Figueroa nace en Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Estudia Música en el conservatorio Laferrere y Cine en la Universidad de Buenos Aires.
Antes de dedicarse a la dirección cinematográfica a trabajado profesionalmente como: Guionista, montador y productor, principalmente en Europa.
Ha rodado en más de 20 países.
Dirigió innumerables anuncios para TV y cine.
Actualmente reside en Madrid, España.
Lucas Figueroa earned a degree in Image and Sound from the Unvisersity of Buenos Aires and Music from Laferre Conservatory. He then began work in post production and publicity, taking courses in Flame, Transfer, Avid, Digital FX for film and then using them profesionally.
He has participated in many international courses and seminars including Michael Rabiger (EE.UU), Mark Axelrod.(EE.UU), Alejandro Agresti (Argentina, Francisco Gutierrez (Cuba) and Linda Seger (EE.UU).
He has worked as a multimedia editor for the Telefónica Media group.
Lucas Figueroa has published two books, one of which received an honorable mention from the Argentina Ministry of Culture. He has created a documentary that was filmed in 21 countries.
He directs videos and publicity spots for television and film. He works for Universal Studios, Fox, Disney, Hollywood Channel, Histoy Channel, etc.
He founded LMF Films, a film production company, Located in Madrid.
He received more than 70 awards in the last two years.
Lucas currently resides in Spain.
